During her time as an independent director at the South African Dental Association (SADA), Nontobeko's knowledge of governance and her approach to leadership was invaluable, especially during the entity's transition following amendments to the Companies Act (2011). She led with grace and humility, participated in discussions with a fiercely independent mind, and contributed an extraordinary depth of technical legal expertise without fear or favour. Nontobeko is a source of inspiration of "what good looks like" in the condition of being human. - Maretha Smit, CEO, South African Dental Association.
Nontobeko was our legal counsel and advisor. She is a tough and beautifully strong human being. She epitomises the woman strength in our country and has a heart for her people. I was proud to work with her. - Martine Ellis, Fundraiser, PEN Pretoria (Participate, Navigate, Envision)
